Fresh Coast Dance to Host Masterclass with Cast Member from Wicked
Fresh Coast Dance is bringing a taste of Broadway to our studio with an exclusive masterclass taught by a cast member from Wicked - Rose Iannaccone - on Saturday, August 16th from 10:30 am to noon. This is a beginner/intermediate class for 9-13yr olds (teens 14-18 are welcome to sign up as well!)
This 90-minute workshop will give dancers the rare opportunity to learn from an accomplished musical theater artist who has graced the stage in some of Broadway’s most beloved productions. Rose is a New York City–based performer and graduate of The Institute for American Musical Theater (Class of 2018). She began working professionally while still in school, quickly landing roles in major productions.

Beyond the stage, Rose has performed with Theresa Stone’s AbstraKT Beings and Nijawwon Matthews’ XY Dance Company. Her on-screen appearances include Lil Uzi Vert’s “Demon High” music video, the Fosse/Verdon commercial premiere, and Todrick Hall’s “Returns to Broadway” campaign.
During the Wicked Masterclass, Rose will share choreography, performance tips, and behind-the-scenes insight from her time in the show. Students will sharpen their dance technique, deepen their storytelling skills, and gain a better understanding of what it takes to perform at a professional level.

Wicked Summer Camps
Along with this masterclass, Fresh Coast Dance is also offering two Wicked summer camps from Aug 12-14. These camps are offered for 5–7 yr olds and 8–12 yr olds in separate camps from 12:30 pm–3:30 pm. Registration is available for these as well as our Somewhere Over the Rainbow camp for 3-5 yr olds on Aug 12-14 from 9:30-11:30.
